I am absolutely sure that most of you are too eager to receive your visa packet. Yeah, who would not right? After all, that is the only thing that will make it possible for you and your honeybee to be together finally! and yep, for good!
But here is the catch, DO NOT OPEN YOUR VISA PACKET! Opening your visa packet will get you in trouble ones you reach your POE (Point of Entry to US soil). You only need to get your passport. Just use a blade to get your passport. That's how I got mine.
Don't be to curious as to what is inside the envelope. Those are the same documents that your fiance(ce) sent to file the petition. Nothing extraordinary.
What if its too late, you already opened the packet? Are you gonna just sit until you leave for US? That is a very bad idea. Don't ever take that risk of being refuse of entry. You can call the embassy and tell them what happened. They will have you get back to US Embassy Manila and have your Visa packet re-sealed without any fee.
