Things to do Upon Arrival in the US


Go to the nearest courthouse then get marriage license. Then get married.
Get a Social Security Number - wait about two weeks then go to the nearest SSA office and get a Social Security Number. Don't forget to bring your I-94, birth certificate & passport. If you are already married by the time you go to SSA office bring also your marriage certificate. You can use the form below (use the link) and fill it up then print, bring it with you.

Look for a USCIS accredited Civil Surgeon in your area. Use the link below to locate a CS close to where you live. Just enter the Zip Code. You will need to call those CS listed coz the prices of their service are different, you maybe able to save $$$ once you find out who offer the cheapest service. Don't forget to bring your Vaccination Worksheet from St. Lukes because they will be using it to determine if you still need additional shots. If you still need additional shotss, asked him what are those shots you needed and if you can have those shots in the Health Center coz they are way cheaper to have it there. And you will come back to have them transcribe your immunization. They will give it to you in a sealed envelope. Don't open it!
